Seandavz, born David Sean Barthel, is a French-Haitian artist whose musical identity is rooted in the sounds and cultures that surrounded him from an early age. Growing up in music, he developed a natural connection to Zouk, Kizomba and Haitian Kompa — styles that continue to shape the foundation of his sound.
Rather than limiting himself to one genre, Seandavz brings those influences together with a contemporary, international approach. His music reflects his heritage while moving naturally between Caribbean, African and global sounds.
Seandavz has performed at clubs, renowned lounges, concerts and major events across New York, Boston, Miami, Texas and Canada, as well as Martinique, Guadeloupe and St. Martin. His live experience includes performances in front of audiences numbering in the thousands.
A new chapter. Rooted in culture. Built without boundaries.
Seandavz's current artistic chapter is centered on defining his own musical identity: a sound connected to his French-Haitian roots while reaching beyond the traditional boundaries of Caribbean music. His work draws from Kompa, Zouk and Kizomba while embracing a modern, international direction.
